Since time immemorial Mother has been the epitome of love, sacrifice and strength. Though the respect given to her is the same but the relation she shares with her children has changed over time. With each passing generation the expression of love by both the parties has changed. The generation Y for whom Y stands for Yo Yo Honey Singh might fall short of words but will never fall short of brands. Possibly that is the reason why our conversations and even feelings have become branded. Here is a snippet of how a child of Generation Y expresses her feelings for her mom.
Dear Mommy dearest,
A loreal shampoo has just one solution to the standard 5 problems but you are the one who has a solution to our infinite problems.
You are the ‘Boost’ of our lives, the secret behind our 24*7 energy level.
The one who always encouraged to take a ‘Kitkat break’ during our studies so that we could come out with flying colours at every step.
The ‘mentos’ jo humare dimaag ki batti jalati ho Aur humare room ki batti bujhaye bina sone nahi jaati ho.
The one who cooked everything for us except ‘Maggi’ and everything had ‘Taste bhi, Health bhi’.
The Parle G lover of our family and truly you stand by ‘G for Genius’.
Having you around is like having ‘Bingo’-‘No confusion, great combination’.
The one with whom we could share everything of our life..the way people share ‘pepsi’ with their friends ‘mummy hai..bata do’!
The one who always encouraged us to do ‘aj kuch toofani karte hain’.
The motivation behind our achievements and supporting us everytime saying ‘darr ke aage jeet hai’.
Having a mom like you is like having Tata sky at home-‘isko laga dala toh life jhinga lala’!!
Yours
Khool Pari
