Is A Balanced Diet Enough For Your Kids?

The importance of nutrition cannot be ignored in growing kids. Well-nourished children have strong immunity and enhanced ability to fight infection. A nutritious diet also ensures a curious, active child with good social and cognitive abilities. Needless to say, early childhood nutrition goes a long way in developing the learning ability of kids.

The right amount of macronutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, and fats and micronutrients like Vitamin A, B, C, D, E, Iodine, Zinc, and Iron make up a balanced diet. A glance at the list of nutrients is overwhelming at first but we all consume most of these nutrients on a daily basis. It’s only the portion size that determines whether the nutritional needs of the body are fulfilled or not. And it gets even trickier with kids having small tummies.

There are days when my son just wants to eat chappati and on other days he relishes half the meal and leaves the rest making excuses. With each morsel of food that he takes, I hold my breath and pray to God that my kid eats it. And the moment he gulps it down, I heave a sigh of relief. It is a routine, three times a day, 365 days a year. Feeding nutritious food to the kids and making them understand the importance of a balanced meal is a daunting and never-ending task. To add to it, the American Academy of Pediatrics says that most children do not get enough iron and calcium from their diets.

When I see my 4-year-old’s fast-paced life, I wonder if the diet is giving him enough energy and nutrition to sustain throughout the day. He starts his day at 6 AM, rushes to school, comes back tired, barely finishes the lunch and takes a couple of hours nap. The evening is again busy in homework, dance class and some playtime with friends. Amidst such an active lifestyle, a supplement can help in filling the nutritional gaps. But they should be used only when your kid’s nutritional requirements are not being met by the diet. Moreover, when it comes to supplements, moms are always skeptical of introducing artificial supplements to the kids.

Keeping this dilemma and fear of a parent in mind, a father and a food researcher came up with V-Nourish. V-nourish is a scientifically designed nutrition supplement that is high in protein and helps support the growth and development of your child when included in a daily balanced diet. The protein content in V-Nourish is 100% milk protein with PDCASS 1 which is easier to digest and helps support growth. It even contains botanical extracts like Ashwagandha and aloe vera that add to its nutritive value. The best part about V-Nourish is that it doesn’t contain any harmful artificial additives and hence, it becomes ideal for children.

After reading such great reviews of V-Nourish I got the strawberry flavour for my son who loves natural strawberries. To my surprise, this drink was loaded with chunks of real strawberries. It even tasted like a fresh strawberry shake and my son gulped it down in a go.

It is a relief to see your kids eat at ease, without a fuss. A balanced diet is vital for the proper growth and development of kids. But sometimes, the family’s dietary practices limit the food groups available to the kids or the kids take time or just simply don’t develop the taste of a particular food group which might create nutritional gaps. So keep a check on your kid’s diet, try all means to make it balanced and supplement it with V-nourish to forget all the nutritional worries of your kids.
